Born on April 29, 1937, in Santa Rosa de Caval, Colombia, Bertha lived a life rich in experiences and cultural transitions. She made her way to New York City in 1969, where she spent most of her adult life before settling in Boca Raton for the last 14 years of her journey.
Family and Legacy
Bertha is survived by her loving family, including: Her daughter Monica, who resides in San Diego, California, Son-in-law Michael, Granddaughters; Caroline and Sophia, Younger sister Faviola and older brother Miguel, both living in Pereira, Colombia. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Ariel, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories. Bertha also joins her parents, Amelia and Miguel, and her siblings Ernestina, Doloras, Daniel, Belisario, and Carlos in eternal rest.
