Barry Robert Silvers of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away on December 4, 2025 at age 92.

A native of the Bronx, Barry was born on October 16, 1933.  He was an excellent athlete in his youth, running track and playing baseball. He served in the army in Germany in the early 1950s and later obtained a bachelor's degree from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Barry spent over 20 years in government service, primarily as a Special Agent with the Federal Department of Labor investigating organized crime cases. After his retirement from the government, Barry worked as a private investigator.

Growing up in the Bronx, Barry loved baseball and the Yankees. He was an inveterate tinkerer and could fix seemingly anything. He loved dogs, particularly a black Labrador named Reggie.

Barry is survived by his wife of 13 years, Patti, his children Adam, Carolyn and Laura, and Grandchildren Emily and Jack. He was loved and will be missed.
