Obituary

Anna, 85, died on October 16th after a very sudden and brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born and raised in Wilmington Delaware to the late Rose and Peter Fusco.
Anna married Jack, the love of her life, who predeceased her and they were happily married for 60 years.
Anna's greatest joy and passion in life was being with her family. Her beloved daughters, Diane and Donna and her 3 grandchildren. Her grandsons lit up her world and were everything to her. She always said she wanted to live to a very old age so she could watch them grow up and be a part of all their big moments. She was a huge part of their life and they worshipped her. They lovingly called her YiaYia. Anna adored her two son in laws, Carl and Angelo who always treated her like their own mother and spoiled her with so much attention and affection.
Anna embraced every moment in life and celebrated every minute with her daughters, son-in laws and "her boys" as she referred to her 3 grandsons.
Anna was an amazing Italian cook and prepared fabulous meals for her family her whole life.
Anna loved spending time in the sun and cherished her pool days. Her other passion was enjoying happy hour and dinners out with her husband and family. She got pure joy out of the simple things like a good cocktail and a pasta dinner.
Anna and Jack always spent summers in Rehoboth Beach and winters in Florida but she loved the sun and warmth so much, they moved to Boca Raton full time.
Anna was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her children and grandsons. She brought joy to all who knew her. Our lives will never be the same without her. We will miss her dearly every single day.
Anna is survived by daughters Diane Schwartz (Carl), Donna Halakos (Angelo) and her cherished 3 grandsons, Vasilis, Christos and Yiannis.
There will be a private viewing for the family at Gary Panoch Funeral Home followed by a private mass of Christian Burial at the Ascension Catholic Church. A private interment service will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, John.
In Wilmington, there will be a memorial Catholic Mass and Celebration of Life for Anna. A November date to be determined.
