Ann Kersch, born in Detroit, MI and a Florida resident since 1970, passed away on November 7th at the age of 82. Ann is survived by and will be most keenly missed by her husband Phil to whom she was wed almost 67 years. Ann will also be greatly missed by her extended family. Children: Judy [daughter] & Lester Dahlin of Hobe Sound, FL; Susan Kersch [daughter] of Madison, AL and Roger Kersch [son] of Robbinsville, NC. Grandchildren: Tiffany [daughter of Susan] and Bob Sweeney of Vero Beach, FL; Tina [daughter of Susan] & Travis Stanley of Athens, AL. Great-grandchildren: Abigail [3 ½], Hannah [2], and Isaac [10 months] Stanley. Ann was a humble person who began as a full-time homemaker/farmer, and then became the primary administrative and bookkeeping heart of the auto businesses that she and her husband built first in Michigan and then in Florida. Ann was a superlative helpmeet to her husband and she was the bedrock of her family. She loved gardening and flowers and cooking. She was an awesome cook. A memorial service will be held first in Florida and then a week later in Michigan where she will subsequently will be interred in the cemetery in Armada, MI. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 4 pm in the auditorium of Edgewater Pointe Estates, 23287 Blue Water Circle, Boca Raton.
