Andres "Andy" Guadalupe a resident of Deerfield Beach died at the age of 89 on May 8, 2025. He was born in 1935 and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

Andy proudly served two years in the United States Army during the cold war, stationed in Germany. He had a long career in New York as a manager in several major hotels. He retired to Broward County, Florida and lived happily for many years at Deerfield Creek Country Club.

Andy was a devout Catholic, an avid Yankees fan and a horse racing enthusiast. He enjoyed the Kentucky Derby during his last days.

Andy was predeceased by his sister Lillian and leaves behind two other sisters, Sonia and Diana.  He was a beloved uncle to John, Andrew, Anthony, Caryl, James and Margaret as well as a granduncle to John, Jr., Ryan, Blake, Andrew, Jr., Alex Marie, Jacqueline, Anthony, Robert and Sadie.

In 1998, Andy met Jean Pellito and they became life partners. They were together until his passing. Jean's four sons and their spouses became Andy's extended family, and over the years he became grandpa to Domenic, Gabriella, Anthony, Morgan, and Jenna, and great grandpa to Joseph, William and Weston.

The family will receive visitors from 2-6 pm on Sunday, May 18th with military honors and a prayer service starting 4:00pm at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida.

A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, May 19th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 22094 Lyons Road, Boca Raton, Florida.

Andy's final resting place will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
