Ana Quintana, cariñosamente conocida por sus seres queridos como "Mami," "Abita," "La Doña" y "Mamá," falleció en paz el 23 de junio de 2025 en Delray Beach, Florida, a la admirable edad de 101 años. Ana nació el 18 de agosto de 1923 en La Isabela, Repúblico Dominicana. A los 15 años, entregó su vida al Señor y se convirtió en una devota miembro de la fe Adventista del Séptimo Día, una devoción que definió su vida desde ese momento en adelante. Su fe inquebrantable y su fuerza serena inspiraron a generaciones de familiares, amigos y creyentes.
En el 1977, Ana emigró a los Estados Unidos, donde estableció raíces profundas en el sur de la Florida. Durante 44 años, fue una miembro fiel de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día Miami Central. Su legado de fe, fortaleza y amor desinteresado vivirá para siempre en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Ana Quintana, affectionately known by her loved ones as "Miami," "Abita," "La Doña," and "Mama," passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida, at the remarkable age of 101. Ana was born on August 18, 1923, in La Isabela, Dominican Republic. At the age of 15, she dedicated her life to the Lord and became a devout member of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, a devotion that defined her life from that moment forward. Her unwavering faith and gentle strength inspired generations of family, friends, and fellow believers.
In 1977, Ana immigrated to the United States, where she established deep roots in South Florida. For 44 years, she was a faithful member of the Miami Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Her life was a shining example of service, love, and compassion. Through her work with the church's Dorcas women's ministry, she embodied Christ-like humility and generosity, always ready to lend a hand, a prayer, or a warm meal to anyone in need.
Ana's greatest joy came from her family, whom she cherished deeply. She is survived by her beloved children: Humberto Castillo (wife Clara Castillo), Dominga Castillo, and Norma Castillo; her siblings: Pedro Quintana (Piro), Ana Mercedes Quintana, and Juana Altagracia Gonzalez; her grandchildren: Johaira Jones (husband George Jones), Ann Bell (husband Jorge Bell), Alex Castillo (wife Daysi Castillo), Ramon De La Cruz (wife Blanca De La Cruz), Humberto Castillo, Jr., and Claritza Castillo; her great-grandchildren: Jason Mendoza, Lauren Jones, Matthew Jones, Nathan Castillo, Joyous Castillo, Jorge Bell, Jr., Abigail Castillo, and Lidia Grace De La Cruz; and her great-great-grandchild, Miles Mendoza.
Her legacy of faith, strength, and selfless love will forever live on in all who had the privilege to know her.
