Alexandra "Ali" Ellington, 33, of Brooklyn, N.Y., passed away on January 23rd, 2024.
Born on February 28th, 1990, in Boynton Beach, FL, Ali attended Atlantic Community High School and Florida Atlantic University before pursuing a career in Marketing and HR.
Ali's adventurous spirit led her to travel across the globe, including unforgettable trips to India and Thailand. Her vibrant personality and infectious smile made her a cherished friend to many, and her presence never failed to brighten every room she entered. She had an extraordinary gift for understanding and relating to both humans and animals. She always made herself available to those in need, leaving the world better than she found it.
Ali will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Matthew Ellington, Brooklyn; her parents: Beth Born (Robert), Boca Raton, and Lou Franco, Delray Beach; mother-in-law, Ellen St. John, New York City; grandparents, Robert Schonger (June, deceased), Boca Raton, and Diane Franco (Lloyd Hasner), Delray Beach; sisters Natalie Franco (Marcus Conde), Texas, and Nicolette Jones (Alex Jones), Delray Beach; brother, Julian Born, Boca Raton; nieces, Ella Jones, Emma Jones, Molly Conde; and nephew, Oliver Conde.
A Mass service in memory of Ali will be held on Friday, February 9th at 11 a.m. at Ascension Catholic Church. Her final resting place will be at Boca Raton Mausoleum in Boca Raton, FL.
