Alejandro Mendez Sena

Sena, Alejandro, 89, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully in hospice care on December 26, 2024.

Alejandro was born on February 28, 1935, in Villa Jaragua, Dominican Republic, helping his father grow beans and corn on the family farm before joining the Dominican Air Force and reaching the rank of sergeant. Alejandro immigrated to the United States, living in Washington D.C., Connecticut, California, and Florida. He spent the last several years reconnecting with his children and enjoying his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Taking after his father, Alejandro was an avid and capable gardener.

Alejandro will be lovingly remembered by his five children, Arelis, Roberto, Hilsia, Alejandro Jr., and Richard; his siblings; and all those who encountered his charming smile.

A Funeral Service in memory of Alejandro will be held on Saturday, December 28, at 9:00 a.m. at the Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton FL, 33487. Burial will be held at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
