Pasquale "Pat" D'Orsi III Obituary

PASQUALE “PAT” D’ORSI JR 0CTOBER 1, 1959-NOVEMBER 16, 2019 What can be said about a man who throughout his life brought joy and happiness to everyone he met. Who touched more lives than we can ever imagine? On November 16, 2019, Pasquale (Pat) D’Orsi III passed away surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born on October 1, 1959 to Pasquale and Ann (Colaprico) D’Orsi who survive him. The lessons they taught him made him the man we loved so dearly. He has been married to Ina Staris for 35 years. She was the love of his life and best friend. She even convinced Pat to run a marathon before they were married. Together they built a life we should all aspire to. He has two wonderful daughters, Kristina and Aleksa. Both of them have inherited his intelligence and his biting sense of humor. Pat found no greater joy than being surrounded by his family. His sisters and brothers exemplify the strength of the D’Orsi Family. He is survived by family members Angela (Dean Beer), June (Nicholas Ventresca), Donna (Maria Moffi) and Ronald (Patricia D’Orsi). He was blessed with 10 nieces and nephews who always found support and love from “Uncle Pat.” His family included aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Pat was a lawyer having graduated from Boston College School of Law after graduating from Notre Dame University with a joint degree in history and philosophy. While he was a lawyer, he was so much more! Pat was a man of deep faith. His catholic faith brought him strength and courage throughout his life. He is a member of the Ascension Catholic Church family where he participated as a lector and Eucharistic minister. He also mentored young men and women in the confirmation class, as well as younger children through the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, and was involved in the Family Promise program through the church’s Missions Committee. Pat made an impact on everyone in the church. His presence will be missed. Pat is and will always remain the bright light in any room where his family, friends and loved ones come together. Please smile as you remember Pat’s joy singing Italian ballads at every gathering. Be comforted in knowing that Pat’s faith sustained him both in life and in death.
