Muriel Harding was born on July 16, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of John A. Trosello and Blanche Fitzgerald Trosello. She was married to Robert T. Harding for 59 years who pre-deceased her. Muriel is survived by her two sons. Christopher R. Harding and his wife Jo of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and James A. Harding and his wife Bonnie of Boca Raton, Florida.

Muriel had four grand children. Katherine H. O’Donnell and her husband Darby of Richmond, Virginia, Christopher R. Harding, Jr. and his wife Morgan of San Francisco, California, Stephanie H. Tunis and her husband Travis of Boca Raton, Florida, and Kristin E. Harding of Brooklyn, New York.

In addition she had three great grandchildren. Noah & Henry O’Donnell and Bradley Tunis.

After graduation from Scudder College, Muriel held a number of interesting career positions including administrative assistant to the Director of the British Purchasing Agency during World War II, and as an editor for Woman’s Day Magazine.

Muriel had numerous interests. She was a competitive tennis player, loved sailing and swimming, was a Master Gardener, and loved reading. She and her late husband Bob were wonderful dancers. Muriel had a beautiful speaking voice and recorded numerous books on tape for the blind. She also was active in literacy programs where she tutored adults who could not read.

Muriel lived the majority of her life on Long Island, New York including Laurel Hollow and upon her husband’s retirement in 1970 moved to Boca Raton.

Muriel was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by all.

Visitation is 11:00am Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Gary Panoch Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Ascension Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
