His family is mourning the sudden loss of Michael Scott Sanchez, age 52, of Lake Worth, FL, on Saturday, March 2, 2018. He was born October 24, 1965 in Santa Maria, CA to Don Sanchez and Carol Wollesen. Michael moved to Florida as a child, living in Sunrise, then Cape Coral before returning to the east coast to live in Lake Worth. Michael owned and operated Air Pro Services of South Florida for nearly 12 years. Michael's good nature made customers become friends. He was an avid golfer, and a passionate fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and had said 2018 will be their Superbowl year. Michael's cooking expertise has become legendary, influenced by the famed Santa Maria style barbecue from his hometown. Several times a week you'd find him in his backyard on his big green egg grilling or smoking meat or chicken or fish and preparing vegetables and side dishes that looked as good as they tasted. His family misses him. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Janel Liddick Sanchez, his daughter Michaela (Jay Gallo), his son Evan ,and his grandson Zane Gallo. They were his inspiration. Survivors also include his father Don Sanchez of Mill Valley, CA, his mother Carol Wollesen of Lake Worth, his brother Chris (Jeannie) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and his sister Dawn (Michael Nicoles) of Ponte Vedra, and nieces Sabrina and Alex Sanchez of Ponte Vedra, his mother-in-law Jo-Ann Cicone of Cape Coral, FL, sister-in-law Jodi Johnson-Geiger of Cape Coral and brother-in-law James Liddick of El Paso, TX.
