On Friday October 13, 2017, Margaret Mary "Marge" Clausnitzer peacefully completed her life’s journey in Jacksonville, FL. Marge was born to John and Anna Tarasovic on December 22, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was the last surviving child of five brothers and four sisters. Marge was married to Alvin Ernest “Erny” Clausnitzer and they became Boca Raton Pioneers when they built their home in the original Boca Villas community in 1953. She worked for nearly forty years at several Boca Raton landmark institutions, including: the City of Boca Raton, Florida Atlantic University, and Boca Raton Community Hospital.  She was one of the founding members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and School. Marge is survived by her son Ernest “Butch” Clausnitzer and his wife Elaine; granddaughters Loraine/Gid Moser and Paula/Darrell Wranovics; five great grandchildren, Logan, Eli, Elise,Taylor, and a child to be named in March 2018; loving nieces and nephews; and several truly special friends. She is remembered as a devoted spouse and friend, doting mother, playful grandma and Gma, and caregiver to many.  Her greatest joys in life were the giving of herself to others and slot machines.

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5-8pm at the funeral home with a 6:30pm prayer service. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 20, 2017, 11am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 501 SW 3rd Ave., Boca Raton, FL with burial following at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
