Frank "Teddy" Theodore Brack of Boca Raton, FL passed away November 4th, 2017 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

    Teddy was born in New York, New York in 1930 and grew up in Brooklyn on Old Mill Road. He proudly served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army's Korean Advisory Military Group, K.M.A.G., or as he would call it "Kiss My Ass Goodbye". When he came back to the states after the war, he became a metal fabricator, machinists, engineer, and inventor.

    In New York, Teddy was a metal fabricator for a candy company and made the first Reese's Peanut Butter Cup machine along with other candy making machines. He moved to Florida in 1960 and worked at Sjostrom Industries which eventually led to him starting his own corporation, Industrial Specialties, Inc. on Oak Circle in Boca Raton, FL. He made textile machines and had multiple patents, including the fastest towel cutting machine on the market. Teddy specialized in fabricating parts for custom motorcycles, antique cars, and medical equipment.

    Teddy enjoyed roller skating, dancing, swimming, and playing the accordion and ukulele. Back in the early days of the City of Boca Raton, one of his favorite things to do was to ride all  over the sugar sand fields and explore in his 1962 Willys Jeep with his family and friends. Teddy's  favorite pastime was watching classic movies, especially with John Wayne, Bing Crosby, Nelson Eddy, and Jeanette MacDonald.

    Teddy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Brack, along with his children; Gary Brack, Jeff Brack, and Cynthia Brack. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Jennifer Lewis and his sisters; Celia Latona, and Adele Tonderella.

    Teddy is predeceased by his parents; Stella Brack and Frank Brack along with his sisters; Anna Scapelito, Alice Hogg, and Katherine Schlenk. He is predeceased by his brothers; Benjamin Brack, Freddie Brack, John Brack, Charles Brack, two infant siblings and along with his infant daughter, Theodora Brack.

    Teddy had a big heart and great sense of humor with an infectious smile. He was admired for his beautiful work on rare antique cars and award winning custom motorcycles. Teddy was always there to share his knowledge to the younger generation and offer advice as he was looked upon as a father figure to many. His legacy will always live on through the many wonderful stories about Teddy from the young and old. Now, it is time for Heaven to have him to fix an angel's broken wing, make the gates of heaven more efficient, and whatever would need the use of his skillful hands. May we all give a very big salute to a very proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and just like he would always say, "Kiss My Ass Goodbye".

Family will receive friends Friday, November 10, 2017, 11am to 12:30pm with a 12:30 pm service at the funeral home. Burial will follow with full military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
