Susan Eileen Norton (McDonald), age 55, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2017 after a courageous 11-month battle with cancer. Susan was born on September 20, 1961 in Miami Beach to Millie and John McDonald. Jr., and grew up in Boca Raton with her twin brother, John III, and her younger sister, Kathleen. Susan graduated from St. Andrews School in 1979, and from Meredith College, in Raleigh, NC in 1983. She became a real estate broker and had a successful real estate career with Arvida in Boca Raton. Susan married Dr. Stephen Norton, DMD in 1989, and worked as the beauty, brains, and brawn of the operation. An accomplished tennis player and avid golfer, Susan was never sitting still. Susan’s unconditional love for everyone was contagious, and you could find the whole family on the golf course or tennis court any weekend in fierce competition. After raising her three children who are now all in Nova Dental School, (in addition to her canine-children, Zeus and Liberty), Susan enjoyed spending time in Lake June, where she discovered the simple joy peaceful time with her family and bass fishing. Susan will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, compassion, great sense of humor and dance moves. Susan is survived by her husband, Stephen of Boynton Beach, their three children Stephen, Emily and Gregory, her brother John McDonald, III of Tampa, her sister Kathleen Baffer of Delray Beach, as well as ten nieces and nephews.

A Catholic mass celebrating Susan’s life will be held on Friday, April 7th 1PM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd, Delray Beach. Donations may be sent to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.  (curesarcoma.org)
