I discovered today that our parish had lost a fine and true friend. As a former member of the weekly "Prayer Meeting" I can vouch for the fact that Pete was a great "Prayer". He usually led the group, going home thanking us all for our generosity. May God love you Pete and may you rest in peace.

Uncle Pete lived life fully. I frequently quote his famous saying of “we have to have a good time and we need to hurry up”. Prayers are with the entire family but especially with Aunt Fufetta, Jeannie and other Aunt’s, Uncles and cousins.

My Uncle Pete was an impressive person in many respects, from his wit and wisdom, to his incredible prowness in the art of investment, to his caring heart for those needing a listening ear. His shoes can not be filled - but we can learn from his life and follow in his footpath. My family sends our love and sympathy to Aunt Filippa, Jeannie & family, Cousin Peter, and all those who loved him, including his doting siblings. We look forward to the day we can gather around the table in the Kingdom and hear him call Tombola numbers as only he can do. We will miss you Uncle Pete! Until we meet again...
