We will all miss "Unk." There are no words to express what he has meant to all of us as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother in-law, father in-law, cousin, neighbor, co-worker and, of course, Uncle. Unk was smart, reliable, deeply committed to his family and loved my Aunt and his family above all else.

There are too many memories to share, but here are a few.

My first golf outing and first golf course dismissal... yes, Potsie, Aunt Carol and I were that bad.

Rheingold beer and Cowboys vs. Giants on Sunday afternoon.

His love for dogs and other pets.

The only family member smart enough to help with Algebra and computers.

Crabbing at the Jersey Shore.

The best swimmer in the family.

Watching MNF the night LT broke Theismann's leg.

The pureness of his relief and happiness at UPenn.

The pride he took in his family's athletic achievements.

Never missing a birthday, holiday gathering, wedding, christening...

And, most importantly, the love that he gave to his family.

His soul lives on in all of us. We will miss you Unk.

Love Joe

My uncle was a loving and caring man, who will be truly missed by his family. He loved my aunt from the time they graduated high school and always put her and my cousins first. "Unk," as my brothers and I lovingly called him, often looked like he had a scowl on his face, and sometimes you weren't sure if he was in a good or bad mood, but then out came his sarcastic sense of humor and his hearty laugh.

He suffered from emphysema for many years and got a lung transplant seven years ago. He never complained or said why me? He used that time to enjoy life and be there for his wife, children and grandchildren.

RIP Unk. ❤️

My sincere condolences to your family. May you find comfort in the promise of Revelation 21:4 of a time when death will be no more and loved ones will be reunited.
