I am deeply saddened by your loss. I worked for Carol Hanson for 9 years in the Florida House of Representatives and as a Division head with the City of Boca Raton when she was Mayor. She brought many wonderful programs, policy and laws into existence which continue to benefit us today. She serviced her community with integrity, honesty and humility. She always stood up for what was right and in the best interest of her constituents, regardless of the pressure contrary. She was a straight talker with a fantastic sense of humor. She was my mentor of what it means to be a public servant. Her legacy of service must never be forgotten nor underestimated as she truly was an amazingly honest and hard working stateswoman. My prayers and thoughts go out to you all as I know she was a unique individual. She talked many times over the years how proud she was of her Daughter and Son... I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Nanson family. Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss, Loosing to parents in one month is a lot to handle . I know how extremely painful it is to loose just one parent, but the comfort that I received from God's word was so helpful, because it gave me a hope. Jesus' words at John 5:28+29 and also Isaiah 25:8 were so comforting to me. Please read them yourself to see why .

Hanson Family: I am so saddened to learn of you mother's passing. When I was employed for the Dept of Corrections as a Parole Officer, your mother was so instrumental in backing our agency and assisting our agency with the the needs and funding from the State Legislation. We could always rely on her for her support and her recommendations within the criminal justice portion of her career. I will always cherish and remember the phone calls and meetings with her.
